In 2020, we have experienced a global pandemic, recording breaking protests, and a divisive election. We have seen a rise in conspiracy theories and felt the effects of climate change. It has been a year of change and fear. With Living in Fear, Striving for Hope: 2020, A Year of Change, we empower those who have persisted through one of the most trying and complex years in the country’s history and in doing so, validate all our feelings of fear and hope.

With this project, our goal is to spark a conversation on the state of our campus community, and what we should be doing to make Saint Joe’s a more inclusive, understanding and safe place for everyone. Through this medium we hope to enact necessary change and give a voice to the voiceless.
